Sited in Mumbai’s Kandivali suburb, Children’s Academy, Thakur Complex (estb. 2002), the latest addition of the Children’s Academy Group of Schools, has in less than two decades built a formidable reputation within the city’s parents community for providing well balanced holistic education to its 2,750 students mentored by 147 teachers.
The CISCE-affiliated K-10 school was conferred the EW Grand Jury Awards 2019-20 under the category of technology avant-garde schools. The state-of-art academic building with a built-up area of 50,000 sq ft, houses 33 ICT-enabled Smart classrooms, five fully-equipped science, math and computer laboratories, two 500-seats auditoriums, along with a central library stocked with over 10,000 volumes. High priority is given to co-curricular activities including fine arts, music, dance, robotics, among others. Specialised in-house training is provided for karate, handball, yoga, and skating. In 2019, 147 of 196 who wrote the class X ICSE board exam registered an aggregate of over 90 percent.
