CNM School Mumbai is a coeducational day school affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
The CNM School & N.D. Parekh Pre-Primary School, Mumbai is promoted and managed by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal.
The school management is committed to delivering a “child centred education” with the objective of promoting all-round development of a child’s personality.
Promoted in 1997, it’s the first English medium school of the Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal. The school which began with 25 students, one teacher and one support staff in Gokhalibai School, Vile Parle, today has 3,485 students and 146 teachers on its muster rolls.
The school’s motto is ‘Education – A Treasure Beyond Measure.’
The school boasts 106,000 sq. ft. of built up area comprising science labs, computer lab, interactive classrooms, play area, swimming pool, auditorium, multipurpose hall, infirmary and library.
Coaching for sports such as cricket, volleyball, table tennis, and basketball is provided.
The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi, and prepares students for its class X ICSE examination. The school’s teaching-learning is focused on motivating children to become independent learners and making learning is fun through structured and spontaneous activities. Interactive digital boards are used in class teaching.
The CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) system has been introduced in the school and assesses different aspects of a student’s development.
Throughout the year, the school dedicates ‘weeks’ to explore various topics. A Science Week or an English Week, for example gets students to go beyond the classroom.
At the pre-primary level, the school provides a stimulating environment to enable the physical, intellectual and emotional development of children. Outdoor play equipment is constantly upgraded.
The primary sections function between 1 pm and 5 pm, while the secondary school students have classes from 7:15 am to 12:50 pm.
The school introduced MindSpark Tablets and Net Books for primary students, to help them practice math using adaptive logic.
At the secondary level, the school provides tutorials for students. The school also has a team of counselors and remedial teachers to guide children with learning difficulties.
Extracurricular
Students are trained in singing, folk dance, debates, quiz, art and craft and instrumental music. Students regularly participate in interhouse and interschool competitions. In addition, skating is encouraged for girls and football for boys. Punching and quilling, needle work, elocution, textile designing, cooking, theatre, public speaking, photography and Photoshop are also taught.
Students can choose from sports such as cricket, volleyball, table tennis, and basketball.

Registration forms for admission are issued in the month of December. Students are admitted in the pre-primary stage.
