“Keeping with our patron’s (St. Ignatius of Loyola) belief ‘Love is shown more in deeds that in words’, the St Xavier’s community has been demonstrating its commitment to social welfare time and again. The Covid-19 crisis provided an opportunity to our students to be sensitised for social responsibilities and tested their empathy for the less privileged communicaties. I believe this is the best way to mould our future citizens.” Dr Rajendra D. Shinde, principal, St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

“A heartfelt note of appreciation from me for all my lovely teachers who are toiling hard every single day to impart us knowledge. reach out to us in the best way possible and impart knowledge to us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the management and the SXM faculty team for arranging a well planned and engaging virtual learning programme for us in such a short time. “I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for taking the initiative to introduce online classes. The process of transitioning from in-person lectures to an online forum must have been undoubtedly challenging and fraught with potholes. On a personal note, the resumption of lectures has provided me with some semblance of hope for the future and has nudged me back into a disciplined routine. Funnily enough, I find myself paying more attention whilst attending online classes than in-person lectures! ”
– Shalini, student of SXM.
