With the COVID-19 lockdown approaching the two-month mark, millions of children are being deprived of any form of physical activity and social interaction between peer groups.
The visible outcome being reported is high irritability, restlessness and gadget addictions among school children. In fact, the gnawing loneliness and feeling of being “cut-off and locked-in” has also resulted in depression among school children in many parts of the world such as China.
To avoid this situation and ensure psychological and physical well-being of its students during the extended lockdown phase led by COVID-19 and beyond, VIBGYOR Group of Schools, owned by Ampersand Group, has launched a unique psychological and physical activity routine for school children – ‘Fit@Home’. The progressive, scientific and age-specific program has been designed by SPA Coaches and experts from Team Olympia of the Ampersand Group for Grade 1 to 10 students.
