Minu Sarin was a Mom who loved books. And both her kids — Ashutosh (10) and Veena (6) grew to love them too.
Minu always found it a challenge to accomodate all the books she bought. And she didn’t have the budget for purchasing a large number. So she started the ‘10-Book Club’.
To inaugurate the club, she bought a set of 10 books for her children. She invested in a set of ten books just once.
Here’s how she made the 10-Books Club work. She bought a set of 10 books initially. Every member of the 10-Books Club does likewise. When her children are through with reading them, she exchanges the set with another club member the nexth month. So she has 10 new books for her children. The following month, she exchanges these books with another club member. The only effort she puts in is to keep telling other moms about the club, so they can sign up. It’s simple, and it works.
