December 11, 2020

Anisha Global Schools – a part of Kolte Patil Group, partners with Crimson Education Management Services (Crimson) as it looks to establish a leadership position in the K12 Education space in Pune Crimson is backed by Cerestra Ventures, a real assets focused fund house that pioneered and institutionalized the K12 Education Infrastructure in India.

“We are excited about the evolution of the “Crimson Anisha” partnership starting with our two schools in Pune, one at NIBM and the other at Life Republic Township near Hinjawadi. We will aspire to grow to over 5 schools in the next 2 years to be the most recognised regional brand in our cities” said Ankita Patil Lunkad, Managing Trustee of Anisha Education Society, and a pioneer in the field of Education & Child Welfare.

This Joint Venture also marks Crimson’s entry into Pune. An innovative brand neutral, pan-India O&M platform for end to end management of K12 schools in the Mid-Market segment, Crimson focuses on empowering regional brands to adapt to new age curriculums and pedagogy. Under the leadership of Francis Joseph and Farzana Dohadwala, both leading changemakers in the field of education, Crimson presently manages a of over 15 schools spread across India with a projected top-line of over INR 100Cr. It is our endeavor to touch over 25,000 lives with a network of 50 schools by the coming academic year said Jasmeet Chhabra, Managing Partner at Cerestra Ventures

“Crimson is a collaborative reunion of national and international school operational experts with extensive experience in developing education systems, considering that we have experience not only in developing great schools, but also in managing international education boards in the Country. Each of our schools shall remain unique to the local community needs, as we strongly believe in developing a culture of “ownership spirit & community engagement” within the school, as a key to its success”, said Francis Joseph of Crimson.

Echoing a similar philosophy, Farzana Dohadwalla states “how student voices would be given the maximum emphasis in all Crimson schools. Nurturing and fostering a sense of inquiry in students and developing in them the skill of lifelong learning is what Crimson seeks to achieve in all its schools.”

In the words of Vishal Goel, Partner at Cerestra Ventures , “Cerestra Ventures is uniquely placed to facilitate Crimson as an asset light O&M business model with its ability to monetise the underlying infrastructure of the schools through its Edu-Infra funds which it plans to list as an INVIT in the marketplace. This helps provide a long-term contract for the services business for Crimson and this drives long-term value and stability for the stakeholders”
