The online application process for the Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020 exam has been extended up to March 2, 2020. Candidates can apply at ctet.nic.in. The CBSE will now be accepting the exam fees up to March 5, 3:30 pm.
The exams will be conducted by CBSE on July 5, 2020, and will be held in two shifts – CTET Paper-I and Paper-II. The CTET Paper-I is for candidates aspiring to become a teacher of classes I-V while CTET Paper-II is for classes VI-VIII teachers.
Candidates who qualify the CTET exam become eligible to apply for the recruitment in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya or any other central government school. For the application process, candidates will have to fill the online application form by entering personal details following which they will get a registration number.
Candidates who intend to teach Classes I to V need to appear for Paper I. The exam pattern includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
Meanwhile, Paper-II will be for candidates who intend to teach Classes VI to VIII. The exam pattern includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science.
