Big Dreams

When you hear about successful businesses, do you wonder how they succeeded? Many businesses begin with simple people with big dreams, and loads of energy and enthusiasm.
The Subway Restaurants chain was started by a person who needed money to fund his college education. Seventeen-year Fred DeLuca started selling submarine sandwiches for this, supported by a Dr. Buck who encouraged him and gave him start-up money to begin.
The job portal, monster.com, was started when a young man had a dream about a monster idea. He thought about it some more and wrote his ideas down. Its success is history.

“He has half the deed done who has made a beginning.” Horace

Moms’n Dads

Planning events and activities make for great days together as a family. Sit together and make plans for the year, so that you can spend time together as a unit.
Use our year planner, and mark at least one day per month for doing somethng together. Plan family dinners, get-togethers, picnics and tours. Check the calendar for holidays.
Once you plan your activity, every member of the family must be committed to keeping the date barring unforseen emergencies.
Knowing your plans in advance will help you book tickets and hotel rooms early. You will also look forward to the next family outing or event.
It is easy to get carried away by busy days, but maintaining a family planner will help you focus on family time.
