The overall pass percentage in NDMC and Navyug schools is 98.61% for class 10 and 98.68% for class 12, according to NDMC vice chairman Satish Upadhyay. He praised the exceptional academic results, highlighting the quality of education in NDMC schools.
“These results reflect our commitment to providing high-quality education and equitable opportunities for students from both Atal Adarsh and Navyug Schools,” Upadhyay stated. He also emphasized adherence to the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines for maintaining the student-to-teacher ratio.
This year, 28,022 students are enrolled, with a goal to reach 31,000 by year-end. Special campaigns aim to boost girl student enrolment. Currently, 1,027 teachers are employed against 1,320 vacancies. Additionally, 533 CCTV cameras have been installed in 45 schools, and 811 pre-loaded tablets have been distributed to class 10 and 12 students, with 6,181 more tablets being procured.
Computer labs in 29 secondary and senior secondary schools are being upgraded. There are 433 operational smart classrooms for classes 6 to 12, with 346 more in the tendering process for primary levels. Upadhyay also noted that NDMC is dedicated to students’ holistic development through extracurricular activities, with 525 students receiving coaching in 10 sports, supported by 24 part-time sports coaches.
