Delhi Public School, Azaad Nagar was promoted by Alok Misra in 2004 under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society (DPS Society) with the objective of ‘imparting excellent education aimed at the holistic development of students in order to prepare global citizens and agents of social change committed to humanistic values.’

DPS Azaad Nagar is sited on a sprawling, lush green 17-acre campus that houses an Administrative Block and three Academic Blocks. The school’s contemporary academic infrastructure includes 85 spacious and well ventilated classrooms, a well-stocked library, 50 ICT rooms, nine well-equipped labs including a robotics lab and a coding lab.
