Delhi Public School Dwarka is a coeducational day-cum boarding school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for classes from nursery to XII. Established in 1996 with the motto “Service Before Self”, and run under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society, DPS Dwarka is located in a landscaped campus area of 9.64 acres at Sector III, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The school not only believes that education is the birth right of every child but also that it is the ‘Quality Education’ that matters. Setting new standards every day for others to emulate is what it aspires to achieve.
The sprawling 9.64-acre campus of the school believes in giving its students ample opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom. Besides state-of-the-art classrooms, science laboratories, computer centre, cafeteria and well stocked library, it provides facilities for various sports like cricket, football, basketball, tennis, badminton etc. There are coaches to train the students in these sports. School bus facilities are also available.
DPS Dwarka has two terms (April-September and October-March). Class I students have no formal testing and class II students have continuous assessments by means of revision assignments and subject-specific tasks. For classes III-V, each term will have one round of unit tests, one term exam and one round of internal assessment in each subject.
Evaluations for classes VI-VIII include two sets of Monday-tests and one cycle of computer Monday-tests each term and mid-term and final exams.
Subjects for class IX and X include language 1, language 2, mathematics, g. sc. and social science. Students are evaluated based on periodic tests throughout the year and mid-term and final exams of 80 marks.
For class X, students must appear for a pre-mid-term exam, mid-term exam and post-mid-term exam of 80 marks each. The final board exam conducted by CBSE board is a written exam for 80 marks with full syllabus.
For Classes XI and XII, the following subjects are offered:
English core, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, economics, business studies, accountancy, physical education, psychology, geography, Hindi, history, fine arts, sociology, political science, legal studies, informatics practices, web application.
Students appear for class XII board exams at the end of the year.

Admission into class XI is based on an admission test and interview.

Ranked fourth in Delhi & NCR in the day-cum-boarding school category.
DPS Dwarka received the prestigious District Level Award “Swachh Vidyalaya
Puraskar 2017” conferred by the Ministry of Human Resource Development,
Government of India in the sub category of ‘WATER’ with a score of 100 percent with
‘Green’ rating.
DPS Dwarka was also conferred with “Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2017” (District
Level) by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India with an
overall score of 92 percent and an overall rating of five stars.
