Overview

Delhi Public School, Hapur was founded in the year 2004 by Padmashree award winner S. L. Dhawan. The co-educational day school is affiliated with the New Delhi-based Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers nursery to class XII education. It is a franchisee school of the well-reputed DPS Society, which has a network of 150 DPS schools countrywide.

The objective of DPS Hapur is to provide holistic education to students residing in the city of Hapur and nearby areas. Situated about 60km from New Delhi, Hapur is part of the Delhi NCR region.

Campus

DPS Hapur is situated on 7.16 acres of land, boasting aesthetically designed buildings and landscaped gardens. The school building features airy and spacious classrooms, a well-stocked and professionally catalogued library, and well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, computer science and language. There is a swimming pool, and facilities for sports and games such as basketball, skating, tennis, football, cricket, swimming, table tennis, and chess. The open air theatre hosts school performances and events.

The school offers nursery to class XII education. The school follows CBSE continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) system. Extracurricular activities

Seminars and workshops in art, craft, dance and music form an integral part of the school curriculum. Students have the option to attend classes in dance and music, and be part of the Robot Club. Coaching is provided in basketball, skating, tennis, football, cricket, swimming, table tennis, and chess.
