Delhi Public School, Jaipur , is a co-educational day school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is a franchisee school of the Delhi Public School Society (Estb. 1949) which runs 205 schools worldwide.
DPS, Jaipur was instituted by Ravi Jaipuria, the well-known industrialist and philanthropist and his wife Dhara Jaipuria who is also committed to the cause of quality education under the aegis of DPS Society.
Inaugurated on April 8, 2003, the school strives to provide quality education to the students from class Pre-Nursery to XII.
The school aims at the ‘Holistic Development’ of each child by inculcating ‘Core Values’ at every stage through the right blend of academics, activities, sports and community engagements.

Extra curricular Activities:
A wide range of extracurricular activities are offered at DPSJ for ensuring the holistic development of the students.
There are 14 clubs for the students to engage in learning and hone their skills in the field of literature, debating, performing and visual arts, science and technology, peer education, heritage, environment, photography and a lot more.
Students are also given the opportunity to learn various instruments, songs and learn different dance forms and also to express their artistic expression under the able guidance of trained and skilled mentors of the performing art department of the school. Fine Arts studios have been established to hone the skills of the children and give them a platform to showcase their talent in various art forms guided by the experts.
Besides cementing the values of discipline and patriotism, the NCC programme offered at DPSJ serves as a gateway to the students for a future in the armed forces.
CSR Drive
The Student Council of DPS Jaipur started a donation drive for the students of the underprivileged section of society.
Students of grades 6-12 donated stationery, notebooks, sanitary napkins, slippers and socks to the children of the NGO “Indian Women Impact” in the session 2021-22. This NGO works for the children of the underprivileged sections of society and provides them with education.
The students of grades VI to VIII conducted the activity- ‘Bake Sale’. The amount collected from the activity was used to purchase the sweaters for the underprivileged students of Shiksha Kendra.
In the current academic session 2022-23, our vice council of students donated various essential things to different organisations working for the underprivileged section of the society:
Rays Boys Home ( Mansarover metro station)
Rays is a charitable trust that aims at helping HIV positive.
Aashray Girls’ Home (Nirman Nagar)
These Aashray care Homes are created to fulfil survival & development opportunities to the HIV infected and affected orphan children, & HIV positive widow women who have been rejected by those close to them due to discrimination, death of parents/ spouse or financial hardship due to their HIV status& poverty.
Surman Sanstha (Vaishali nagar )
Surman has been working towards providing shelter and other necessary amenities for destitute abandoned children and women of the society for many years.
Naya sawera (Nirman nagar)
The aim of the organisation is to see that no human being is deprived of the basic needs because of poverty. The organization also seeks to support and nurture the talents who cannot avail proper facilities due to their harsh conditions.
DPS Shiksha Kendra
It was the vision of PVC Dhara Jaipuria and Ravi Jaipuria to make quality education accessible to the underprivileged children of the society. The school was set up in the year 2006 and ran for the children of Pre-Nursery to VIII and currently has 800 students enrolled with it. The concept of inclusive education is best implemented at DPS Jaipur with Shiksha Kendra as its integral part.
Pravah
Pravah, the skill development centre at DPSJ was established in April 2015 with the objective of creating entrepreneurs and making a real difference in the society by transforming the lives of not so privileged youth.
