She currently serves as pro-vice chairperson and director of all the four schools and president of Tribhuvan College.

An alumnus of Symbiosis University, Pune who completed his training in educational leadership from IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. Sachdeva has acquired over two and a half decades’ rich experience in teaching and institutional administration of which 14 years as the principal of reputed K-12 institutions. Prior to taking charge as the principal of Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok in August 2021, he helmed Delhi Public School, Bopal, Ahmedabad (February 2014-August 2021), Indore (January 2009-February 2014) and Vasant Kunj (1995-January 2009). He has also served as the city coordinator/chief nodal officer for CBSE administered examinations and national entrance exams such as JEE, CTET, and UGC NET, among others. His keen interest in exploring foreign education system and policies led Mr. Sachdeva to visit several schools and universities abroad including Delhi Private School (Dubai), New South Wales Department of Education and Communities (Australia), Atlantic Canadian Universities and Colleges (Canada) and Coral Secondary School (Singapore, Australia and USA). He also participated at the World Education Leadership Symposium 2019 hosted at Zug, Switzerland.

State-of-the-art infrastructure aligned with inclusive ethos

Designed by well-known Delhi-based architect Roopak Kothari, Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok’s aesthetically designed 5-acre campus offers a “safe and caring environment that enables children to blossom into well-rounded young adults ready to take on the world”.

The pollution-free campus is among the first in the city to host a rain-water harvesting plant and a roof-top solar power system. Two red-brick buildings — one each for the junior and senior schools — house 103 well-ventilated TFT (thin-film transistor) enabled digital Smart classrooms, three state-of-the-art multi-purpose auditoriums, separate computer labs for junior and senior students, well-equipped science labs, two air-conditioned libraries stocked with 25,600 volumes, and a robotics lab.

Moreover, as an inclusive school, the Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok campus is equipped with ample facilities for the differently-abled children including two disabled friendly blocks, ramps, and value added services through a fully equipped learning center. To facilitate special needs and Braille education for visually challenged children, the school also offers facilities for learning Japanese, French and German.
