Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi schools are set to commemorate Republic Day at Chhatrasal Stadium in Model Town on January 25, with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in attendance, according to a recent circular from the Directorate of Education.

Cultural program rehearsals are scheduled to commence from January 11, with a full-dress rehearsal slated for January 22 in preparation for the main event. The circular emphasizes that the state Republic Day function, organized by the Delhi government, will feature the Chief Minister unfurling the national flag. Traditionally, students from Delhi schools actively participate in various capacities, including flag marchers, band contingents, and cultural performers.

The final event is set to kick off at 7 am on January 25, and any updates or modifications will be communicated to students and teachers directly at the venue, as outlined by the Directorate of Education. The participation of schools in the Republic Day celebration not only symbolizes patriotic fervor but also offers students a unique platform to showcase their talents and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of the event.
