Established on 9th April 2018, Delhi World Public School, Ajmer is a coeducational school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It is a chain of school under the aegis of the Delhi World Public Foundation. An initiative by the top alumni of Delhi Public School Society, the Foundation aims to bring education back to its ‘Guru-Shishya’ roots as the school is committed to provide state-of-the-art education, incorporating Indian values and World culture and aiming to create global citizens.
The vision of the school is set out as ‘A Broader Mindset For A Brighter Tomorrow’. The mission of the school is ‘Learning More By Teaching Less’ as it endeavours to take learning beyond the confines of classrooms to activity workshops, resource centres, laboratories and library. Children are guided from primary to senior school to develop values of citizenry, a commitment to good health, high values and sensitivity to the environment.
Sited on a green 16-acre campus, the Delhi World Public School campus hosts contemporary infrastructure for academics, sports and co-curricular education. The campus is air conditioned with state-of-the-art infrastructure and digital classrooms.
Academic facilities include the vibrant pre-primary block, 50 classrooms equipped with ICT teaching-learning processes, nine well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry, biology, computer, math, stem lab, words worth language, social science and robotics along with a state-of-the-art library. The campus also houses an infirmary room and a multi-purpose hall. The campus also houses the MS Dhoni Cricket Academy with state-of-the-art training facilities for students.
CCTV surveillance is enabled across campus for the safety of children. Transport facilities comprise GPS enabled buses.
Delhi World Foundation adheres to the National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2005) and the CBSE curriculum. The Foundation believes that the classroom experiences of children are to be organised in a manner that permits them to construct knowledge in consonance with the child’s nature and context, thus providing equal learning opportunities to all children.
DWPS Ajmer offers a learner-centred curriculum drawn from five major pedagogical approaches – constructivist, collaborative, integrative, reflective and inquiry-based learning. 50 days are annually spent on teachers’ training, and the team of highly trained and qualified teachers impart individual & personalized attention to students. The school’s experiential learning model shifts away from rote methods as it encourages feedback, inquiry, class discussions, collaborative project work and group learning. Examinations are made more flexible and integrated with classroom life. The educational programmes provide opportunities for students to develop a sense of equality and compassion and link learned knowledge to practical world experiences so as to prepare them for real world challenges.
The curriculum is created to go beyond textbook learning following the ‘teach less to learn more’ philosophy. The curriculum provides a rich variety of co-curricular activities to produce confident and well-rounded students. There are over 18 activities and sports offered by the school, including Indian & Western dance, Indian & Western vocal and instrumental music, speech & drama, literary activities, exploratory clubs, swimming, art & craft, cricket, football, table tennis, lawn tennis, horse riding, skating, karate, basketball and squash. Student- Exchange collaborative projects and community reach programs are also offered. The school also has educational partnerships with stem lab, math lab, words worth language lab and edu sports.

Admission notification for Delhi World Public School, Ajmer is published in English and vernacular newspapers in October/November every year. The application forms can be collected at the school office. Admissions to class 11 begin in May and are based on marks obtained in the class X board examination.
Admission to classes other than pre nursery and class 11 are subject to seats and performance- based on an entrance examination. Admission to class X and XII is possible only in transferable cases, if the previous school the students studied in is affiliated with CBSE.
The age criteria for students seeking admission into Pre- Nursery should be minimum two years as of April 1 of the year of admission. The age eligibility for higher classes is calculated accordingly.
