For or against the RTE Act’s 25 percent reservation for underprivileged children in private schools?

It’s a step in the right direction. However, its implementation needs focused attention. Moreover, state governments should concentrate on raising standards of education in schools run by them.

Should the education outlay be doubled by cutting defence expenditure?

Undoubtedly, the education budget needs to be increased and given priority. It’s for the policy-makers to decide where to get the resources from.

How satisfied are you with the growth and development of the Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh and The Palace schools?

I am very satisfied and happy with the progress of both schools. In a short span, Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School has emerged as a school of choice for parents, and The Palace School too is doing commendable work.

Pessimistic or optimistic about the future of education in India?

Very optimistic. Indian students are doing well and bring laurels to the country in every field.
