Promoted by the Delhi Public School Society, DPS Guwahati is a co-educational day cum boarding school. Established in 2003, the school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English.

DPS Guwahati is affiliated with CBSE. The school follows the updated CBSE syllabus for subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, English, computer and home science.
The children are also exposed to extracurricular activities by incorporating outdoor sports such as basketball, swimming, tennis, etc in the school curriculum. Other activities include music, drama, art and craft and listening and learning skills lessons.

SportsAdmission for Playgroup I to class IX opens in November-December. From class II onwards, a student is admitted only on submission of a Transfer Certificate from the previous school. Admission is subject to a student qualifying the admission entrance examination and availability of seat. Admission to class XI opens after the results of class X Board Exams, i.e. in the month of May/June.

Submission of Original Mark Sheet of the last exam of the last class attended
Transfer Certificate (Classes II and above)
(that needs to be countersigned by District Elementary Education Officer in case of interstate/inter board transfer)
Deposition of admission fee within the specified date
Undertaking by parents & family doctor’s certificate in the prescribed format.
Incomplete and illegible Registration Forms are not accepted.

Play Group I – 3 years 6 months as on March 31.
Play Group II – 4 years 6 months as on March 31.
Class I – 5 years 6 months as on March 31.
Class II onwards – As per Transfer Certificate ( From a Registered School).
