Delhi Public School, Indira Nagar, Lucknow has once again gained recognition by winning the International School Award (ISA) 2018-2019 at a glittering ceremony held at The Leela Palace, New Delhi on December 5. This is the second time in a row that the school has won the ISA award.
The International School Award is a prestigious award instituted by the British Council of India with the objective of recognising and celebrating exemplary practices of internationalism in schools.
Under the ISA, the students prepared extensively performed global projects based on Folks Tales and Fables from India, UK and Russia, Environment Conservation, Scholastic Intellect, Sustainable Development etc. The school offers a global learning environment through partnerships with several schools in Lithuania, Vietnam, Canada, USA, Australia and Sri Lanka. In her elated note, Ghazala Afsar, principal of DPS Indira Nagar, mentioned it as a noteworthy milestone in the school’s journey towards excellence.
