Promoted in 1991 by the Delhi Public School Education Society, Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj is a co-educational English medium school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school started its afternoon shift in Delhi Public School Vasant Vihar premises and moved to the present campus in Vasant Kunj in 1994.

The school is affiliated with CBSE and offers a common curriculum upto grade X along with an option of a foreign language. In grades XI and XII it offers a choice of three streams – Science, Commerce and Humanities. The school has implemented the scheme of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) which envisages that every learner is to be assessed over the entire period of the learning schedule. Students can choose between French, German and Sanskrit as third language.
Extra-curricular: The school encourages a variety of co-curricular activities such as art, music, dance, science club, geography club, literary club, physical and health education. Application forms can be downloaded from the school website. The minimum age for admission to pre-nursery is 3 plus. 25 percent seats are reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). Admission enquiries are entertained in the first week of April. Candidates seeking admission from class I to IX need to write an entrance test. Selected candidates need to appear for an interview with the principal. No admission is granted in classes X and XII.
Fees: The first installment of Rs 25,000 needs to be paid during admission. For boarders, a demand draft of Rs 70,000 also needs to be submitted towards hostel fees and charges.
