Dr. Kamlesh Misra – ex vice-chancellor of Surat based Auro University and Gurgaon’s Ansal University – has been appointed vice chancellor of the recently promoted Rishihood University.
Based in Sonipat – the emerging education hub of Delhi NCR – Rishihood University was set up with an aim to focus on social impact in areas like healthcare, entrepreneurship, education and creativity.
Coming from a family of academicians, Dr. Misra taught in USA before returning to India in 1994. Sahil Aggarwal, co-founder of Rishihood and graduate of IIT Delhi, believes that a leader like Dr. Misra is perfect to head an innovative concept in Indian higher education. Eminent personalities like Saroj Khan and Padmashri Dr Harsh Mahajan are on the board of the university.
The founding team of Rishihood University comprises an IIT graduate and eminent philanthropists who bring decades of experience in setting up educational institutes.
