Featuring imposing architecture and empowered with academic excellence and scholastic and co-scholastic achievements, Delhi World Public School, Ajmer has risen in public esteem in a short span of four years.

We have a digital mindset and believe in experimentation. Time and again, it has been rightly proven that ‘necessity is the mother of invention’ and to enhance, invent, ideate and innovate, we have added ‘creativity’ to overcome the unprecedented challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic .

Our futuristic goals are set to fortify our students with good communication skills with a multi-dimensional approach; strengthening their values, educational standards and a competitive spirit in the parameters of the digital arena.

Creating  digital opportunities

The inexorable power of digital technology has transformed our lives to face the adversities looming large over us.  In the education landscape, particularly, rapid digitalisation of pedagogy, learning processes, and operations is empowering teachers and preparing learners with competencies to thrive in a dynamic, digitally-connected world. We extensively use E-learning tools/platforms used such as Virtual and Augmented Reality, Podcast, Gamification, Power Point Slides, Virtual Activities, NIIT N-Guru, to name a few.

Robust communication

To promote linguistic skills across all levels, we have installed language lab, our own Digital Media House for ‘live’ monthly news to be broadcasted by  our students and collaborated  with  Book Writers to publish an anthology of stories written by our students.

Our students have gained recognition at the national level with home-grown ideas, giving them confidence to vocalise their opinions in online discussions.

We have also partnered with international schools for online projects to accelerate learning .

Effective teaching-learning at pre-primary level

Children learn through  video presentations, flash cards and pictures created by teachers to introduce or revise various concepts. The teachers use e-content with audio- visual aids for better comprehension.  Digitally – equipped classrooms facilitate in breaking the monotony of classrooms .

Reading skills for Early Years

The pre-requisite of an inclusive culture of promoting reading skills starts at an early age at DWPS where students of classes Prep onwards develop the art of reading through pictorials, illustrations and beautifully structured e-story books which also inculcates the curiosity amongst them.

Speech & drama at primary and secondary levels

In this digital age, if we do not allow ‘Theatre in English’ to pervade our classrooms, we fail to deliver the true meaning of education. Speech & Drama forms a vital part of the curriculum at DWPS where students are trained in the art of expression, modulation and articulation through situational anecdotes.

Digitised professional growth for students & teachers

The school has collaborated with NIIT Math Lab, STEM ENTECRES Lab to provide digitally designed infrastructure, modules and manipulatives for students to understand concepts of Math and Science.

We initiated a virtual inter-school literary fest for all DWPS campuses across India with the objective of nurturing global citizens in consonance with the vision and mission statement of Delhi World Foundation.

Digitised Lesson Plans have become our intellectual property, a forte of our teachers for sharing the  textual content, methodolgy and  learning outcomes with their counterparts.

Online collaboration is the only way to bridge the learning loss caused by the two years of pandemic prompted disruption.

Inhouse trainings, webinars, Teachtext training on NLP and specialised trainings  conducted by CBSE have led to the professional growth of teachers .

Accelerated learning beyond classrooms

Teaching children about Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help them understand the inherent biases and risks within the technology and provide them with valuable skills for the workplace.

Integrated with the academic structure, the Robotic Lab provides a platform to children where they collaborate, analyse and create. In their journey of discovery, the students experience many Eureka moments.

Coding enhances focus and concentration. It also helps improve performance in academics and critical thinking skills. It teaches kids to break down a problem into smaller parts and work on each part. Coding enables children to visualise abstract concepts, allows them apply math to real-world   situations, and makes math fun and creative.

The need of the hour is to develop and nurture entrepreneurs, ideators and innovators who are compassionate empathisers, social beings as well as global netizens, prepared to face the real world challenges of the 21st century.
