Fliplearn contest awards Gurugram, December 29. Gurugram-based Fliplearn Education Pvt. Ltd, the highly reputed e-learning platform which offers supplementary K-12 education to 550 schools and 500,000 students countrywide, announced winners of its FlipAheadWithFliplearn contest. Response was overwhelming and more than 50,000 students and around 2,500 teachers participated in the online contest. Winners were selected on the basis of maximum engagement and usage of the platform culminating in a lucky draw in which 215 winners were awarded exciting prizes including tablets, bluetooth headphones and free subscription of Fliplearn. The winners of the contest were felicitated at an impressive awards ceremony held virtually on December 4 and telecast live on Zoom and YouTube. Mindler Internship Program New Delhi, December 13. Mindler Education Pvt. Ltd, the well-reputed career guidance company, launched its Mindler Internship Program (MIP) for class XII students in India and the Middle East. This free-of-charge, student-centric initiative will provide students from over 1,000 schools in India and 70 from the Middle East, five weeks’ virtual experience of interning with fast paced corporate organisations in the two geographies. This initiative has been launched in collaboration with Afairs Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd — Asia’s leading education enabler for student-university outreach — and EducationWorld — The Human Development Magazine. All class XII students signing up for MIP will get access to the Mindler Navigate mobile app available on Google Play and Apple IOS stores. Students will also get access to a gamified leader board which will enable them to earn badges by completing various tasks and assignments and win prizes valued at Rs.10 lakh including Apple IPads, Air Pods and Amazon vouchers. Moreover, participants will receive offer letters, certificates of completion, letters of recommendation, and become eligible to win scholarships valued at Rs.25 crore from high-ranked universities while interning under MIP. IBS-KILA agreement Thrissur, December 28. ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad, a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, signed an MoU with the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) for knowledge sharing. “It is an honour to be associated with KILA which has an excellent reputation for training local government officials. Knowledge-sharing will be in the form of workshops, symposiums, seminars leading to nurturing talent for public governance in Kerala,” said Dr. C. Shylajan, dean of IBS, speaking on the occasion. Added Dr. Joy Elamon, director general of KILA: “This MoU heralds a new chapter for knowledge management at IBS and will empower local administrations across the country to professionalise and enhance administrative efficiency.” Wild Wisdom Challenge 2021 Gurugram, December 8 Two Amity International School (AIS), Sector 46, Gurugram students — Siddhant Kaura and Chinmay Karwa (class VII) — were included among winners of the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge 2021 organised by the Delhi-based Wild Wisdom Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on the theme ‘Life on Our Planet — A Hope for Future Generations’.
