ET Edge hosts the first edition of Maharashtra Achievers’ Awards

The first edition of ‘ET Edge Maharashtra Achievers’ Awards’ recently felicitated luminaries in the fields of Business, Cinema and Sports, among others, who have made Maharashtra proud. Held at St. Regis, Mumbai on February 26, the first of its kind awards ceremony was graced by the presence of Devendra Fadnavis, chief minister of Maharashtra, Sudhir Mungantiwar, minister of finance & planning and other political dignitaries including Jaykumar Rawal Maharashtra tourism minister and Girish Mahajan, minister of water resources, Maharashtra.
The property was presented by Money Trade Coin Group, powered by Ajeenkya DY Patil University.

On the occasion, Dr. Ajeenkya DY Patil, president of Ajeenkya DY Patil University said, “Proud to be associated with the first edition of the Maharashtra Achiever’s Award 2018. As an educationist who takes a first-hand approach to nurturing and shaping young minds, I’m proud to be associated with this landmark event which recognises excellence in the various fields of life.”

The event witnessed several well-known Marathi film celebrities including Sonali Kulkarni, Sachin Pilgonakar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Shreyas Talpade, businessman Adar Poonawalla and Director General of Police (DGP) Satish Mathur. The awardees were nominated for their outstanding contribution to the various facets of Maharashtra’s development.
