FIITJEE, India’s premier institute for JEE training, conducted a “Success Mantras by JEE Toppers” at Bhaidas Auditorium, Vile Parle (W) on June 20 in a bid to provide the right career counseling to students preparing for JEE and other engineering exams.
The interactive seminar provided valuable insights to students for obtaining the best results in JEE and various Olympiads. It was attended by hundreds of students. Majority of them were those, who start preparing for engineering from a stage as early as class VIII.
Cracking JEE in today’s cut-throat competitive environment is not a child’s play. It requires not just the right aptitude but the right attitude as well. Needless to say, correct guidance and good mentors go a long way in shaping the route to a student’s academic success. The seminar shared these concerns and elucidated the importance of starting early in one’s preparation for JEE in order to have an edge over others.
Mr. Mohit Sardana, Director & Head of Mumbai Territory, FIITJEE said on the occasion, “Clearing JEE requires not only individual brilliance, but also hard work, focus, the right aptitude as well as the right attitude. Another important factor is the presence of a good guiding force or a mentor. We at FIITJEE realize this. Our experienced faculty gives the right guidance to everyone who wishes to gain a seat at the coveted IITs and other competitive exams. We train our students in such a fashion that winning becomes their habit!”
Personal interactions between students, parents and FIITJEE’s experienced faculty were the distinguishing feature of this forum. “Success Mantras by JEE Toppers” provided a platform to the students to know themselves better in terms of focus, aspiration and skill-sets or support. It was their virtual window to a world of possibilities which can steer their career as well as life with excellence.
Rahul Bhardwaj, Mumbai Topper in JEE 2017, expressed his views for how he started from being a normal student with a caliber worth 10,000 Rank, while he has benchmarked for his performance in class IX, and today he has achieved an All India Rank of 20 in JEE 2017. He expressed that this journey was not at all easy. He had to sacrifice his hobbies like he love to play cricket and he had to cut it down from playing every day to once a week.
More than a dozen JEE Rankers from FIITJEE Mumbai were present to guide hundreds of students over the event. Along with Rahul Bhardwaj were present Anshul Tomar (AIR 198), A. Sai Gaurav (AIR 236), Sravya Devulapalli (AIR 595), Shreyas Kowshik (AIR 712), Anish Kulkarni (AIR 752), Rohan Ajaykumar Singh (AIR 775), Swadesh Rath (AIR 879), Arpit Dwivedi (AIR (946), Akash Manoj Singh (AIR 973), Rishikesh Lawoo Shete (AIR 1257), Inderjeet J. Nair (AIR 1284), Ayush Sethi (AIR 1398) and Shivanshu Gupta (AIR 1453)
Accompanied with him last year’s Maharashtra State topper & FIITJEE student Preey Hiten Shah, AIR 20 in JEE 2016, was also present at the occasion. He too expressed that one should focus on what you do. Sometimes we, as a student, complicate simple things. There will be times when you feel stressed. But don’t worry there will be light on the opposite side of the tunnel how dark it may appear.
