G. D. Goenka World School (GDGWS) was established by the Delhi based entrepreneur and chairman of GD Goenka Group, A.K. Goenka in memory of his mother Gayatri Devi Goenka. The school aims to provide an environment and curriculum where the child can explore and develop every facet of him thereby enabling him to realize his true potential. This coupled with a state-of-the-art technology, thoroughly trained and committed faculty, a plethora of activities for students to engage in – all provide a congenial environment for holistic education.

The dining hall is a centrally air conditioned building spread over 13,000 sq.ft with a seating capacity of approximately 1000 students and servesbreakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.
The curriculum at G.D. Goenka School is aimed at exposing students to a range of subjects right from an early age. Special care is taken to ensure that the knowledge imparted is in-depth and exhaustive and not superficial. This helps the children to be at ease at any forum of discussion, contributing actively and fruitfully.
The school is affiliated to IBO and authorized to administer IBPYP, IBMYP and the IB Diploma programme as well as the IGCSE programme of CAIE.
Extracurricular:
The school places emphasis on extracurricular activities as well and facilities are in place to develop the skills of children in a variety of sports and hobbies. Equestrians, soccer, golf, tennis, basketball, athletics, swimming, gymnasium, squash and lawn tennis are among the major sports promoted. Talents in histrionics, poetry, painting and music are encouraged and honed through cultural programmes and performances.

The application form can be downloaded from the website or obtained on request from the director of admissions at the school campus. The form duly filled in and annexed with all the documents and non-refundable registration fee should be sent to the director of admissions. On receipt of the application form, the complete set of information and instructions will be dispatched by the school admission office.
For admissions from class II to class XII, the student should have passed the preceding class. Transfer certificate, photocopy of report card of last two years are to be attached with the application form along with a copy of the birth certificate.
It is to be noted that the filing and submitting of application form does not guarantee admission to the school. The decision of the school authorities is final and binding and any false or incorrect information furnished may jeopardize selection and enrollment.

The school has on campus, centrally air-conditioned hostels for boys & girls. Each room is shared between 4 students and has an attached bath and study-rooms. The common room shared between 2 rooms has individual study tables and reading table, plasma TV for entertainment and refrigerators. All rooms have network ports and high speed network/internet access. Bed linen and blankets or duvets are also provided.
Each floor of the hostel has resident staff who makes sure that everything runs smoothly and looks after the welfare of the students. The security is world class with fire sprinklers/ fire alarms, smoke detectors at regular intervals. All areas of the campus have finger scan access with restricted entry zones. Students have access to a tuck shop for their day to day needs.
