Ingredients
1 large egg, room temperature, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
5 tbsp melted butter
2/3 cup cold water
1-1/2 cups white flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp whipped cream
Preparation guide
Add egg, sugar, brown sugar, butter and water in a bowl and mix well.
In another large bowl, stir flour, baking soda, ginger and salt together
Add the two mixtures and beat until well mixed
Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes.
Cut into squares; serve warm with whipped cream.
