From the United World Colleges, St Clare’s Oxford, Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz (Switzerland), Brandenburg International School (Berlin) and Montverde Academy in the USA to the prestigious Harrow School’s outpost in Bengaluru, Marlborough College in Malaysia and Nord Anglia Education in Dubai, leading boarding schools worldwide are focusing on Indian parents who are prioritising holistic education and global exposure, in preparation for future university admissions for their children.
This was evident at The Red Pen’s World Boarding School Fair 2025, which brought together more than 20 top schools from eight countries including India’s renowned Woodstock, to engage with families in Mumbai and Delhi.
In both cities, representatives of the boarding schools held one-on-one discussions with over 130 families with children from kindergarten to grade 12.
In Mumbai, the Fair saw engagement between families and the foreign school representatives. Attendees including movie stars Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza who are the parents of two boys, explored curricula, pastoral care and student development.
Delhi attendees were joined by parents and students from Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and even Jabalpur and Lucknow, according to a press note received here.
Dr. Kim Dixit, CEO and co-founder of The Red Pen, said, “The growing participation of both schools and families at the Fair reflects India’s rising importance in the global boarding school landscape.”
President and partner Namita Mehta told EducationWorld, “The Fair is a trusted space for families to explore opportunities. Each year, we see parents seeking not just academic excellence but an environment that nurtures resilience, independence, and global awareness.”
The Red Pen also announced a partnership with U.S. News & World Report to offer students personalised mentorship and data-driven decision-making.
