Government Senior Model School, Sector 16, Chandigarh is a coeducational day school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Established in 1954, the Government Senior Model School is the first Senior Model School in Chandigarh. The school is managed by the Chandigarh Administration UT (Union Territory) Government.
The school offers education from nursery to class XII.

It provides a separate junior section and a colourful nursery section for the tiny tots. The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE. In classes XI and XII, students can choose from science (medical and non-medical), humanities and commerce. The school maintains regular interaction between parents and teachers through the PTA.
