Greenwood High students bring laurels at national-level competitions

Students of Greenwood High School, Banerghatta have yet again won laurels at a national level competition. Two students from the school achieved top ranks in the national level maths and science competitions organised by MaRRS recently at Mumbai. While Vishwaa A of Grade 2 secured first rank in the MaRRS International Math Bee competition under category I, Amogh Srinivas of Grade 5 bagged Rank 3 in the National championship of 2017-18 Scientia Exertus competition and Rank 5 in the MaRRS International Math Bee competition. Overall seven students from Greenwood High School had made it to the nationals.

Mars International Math Bee (MIMB) is a wide-ranging math competition for school students organised by MaRRS with an objective of instilling interest for mathematics among the students. The Scientia Exertus is an innovative and thought-provoking national level science competition for students, conducted to provide a platform for presenting inventive ideas or concepts in the field of science.

Congratulating the students on their recent achievements Niru Agarwal, trustee, Greenwood High International School said, “At Greenwood High, we never limit our students within the boundaries of the classroom, instead encourage them to explore and learn beyond the textbooks. These programmes provides a window for students to experience and introduce new ideas and thoughts that would pave the way to a dynamic world of scientific creativity and inventions.
