A standard XII science student from Gujarat has been disbarred from appearing for Board examinations for the next one year and has also been marked fail in the exam as he attempted to bribe his examiner by stapling a Rs 500 note on his answer sheet.
Board officials were of the opinion that such actions are quite common in university examinations, however, such attempts are that common in school students.
The class XII student from Central Gujarat was not confident about clearing his examination and hence requested the examiner to “please pass him” during the board exams held this year.
According to Times of India sources, the student was not that bad either. “He might have passed the examination along with grace marking had he not stapled money on his answer sheet.
