Heart to Heart

Hello Parents!

Parenting 24×7 is a demanding full-time job. While we manage the myriad chores involved in getting through the day, there are several issues like our own health, sleep and marital harmony, which could be relegated to the back burner.

Therefore now is a good time to step back from the roles of SuperMom or SuperDad and work towards a better life-parenting balance.

Most parents routinely discharge the tasks of parenting. But they often pay inadequate attention to their own health and many parents tend to be sleep-deprived.
Remaining healthy and energetic needs to be higher on our priority lists to enable us to become good parents.

A review of parental health needs will prove helpful in finding solutions. An easy way to improve parents health is to follow the healthy habits we try to instil in our children’s lives. A glass of milk twice a day, fruits, carrot sticks and nuts, and other healthy things that we offer our children can pep us up as well.

Taking time out to spend time together as a couple, or adopting a hobby can also be refreshing for full-time parents.

When you take care of yourself, you will become the best person you can be, and the best parent you can be as well.
