The 2021 ICSE and ISC examinations will start on May 4 instead of May 5, the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced on Monday.
In the revised ICSE timetable no examinations have been scheduled on May 13 and May 15. In the ISC revised timetable no examinations will be held on May 13, May 15 and June 12
Gerry Arathoon, CISCE chief executive and secretary said that the commencement of the two examinations had to be brought forward by a day and the dates of some examinations had to be revised due to some unavoidable circumstances.
In ICSE the first examination will be held on May 4 in economics (Group II Elective). In the original schedule the test was scheduled on May 13.
In the revised ISC timetable the first test will be conducted on May 4 in English Paper 2 (literature in English) .
In ICSE the dates of tests in four subjects have been changed. In ISC the dates of examinations in eight subjects have been changed.
The ICSE examinations will end on June 7 and the ISC on June 18.
