The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is actively forging strong connections with top global business schools to prepare its students to excel as international leaders. As part of the EPGP program, students participated in the International Immersion experience, designed to enhance their understanding of global economic, political, social, and cultural dynamics.
The first batch visited ESCP Business School’s campuses in Berlin and Madrid, where they engaged in lectures, field visits, and cultural experiences under the guidance of IIMB faculty, Prof. Abhoy Ojha. Their curriculum included sessions on Germany’s business landscape, digital transformation, and the role of SMEs, along with hands-on visits to innovative companies.
The second batch immersed themselves at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, where they interacted with business and government leaders, explored corporate offices, and attended sessions on business strategy, accompanied by IIMB professors Shankar Venkatagiri and Debolina Dutta.
The third batch traveled to WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany. Their experience included insights into Germany’s competitive markets, family business leadership, and modern infrastructure technologies, guided by WHU faculty and IIMB professors Amar Sapra and M. Jayadev.
These experiences provided the EPGP students with invaluable global perspectives, furthering their journey toward becoming global business leaders.
