IIT Jodhpur is set to host ‘Friends of IIT Jodhpur’ Conclave which aims to bring CSR Representatives, PAN-IIT Alumni, Corporates, Foundations, and well-wishers under one roof on February 11 and 12, 2023.
According to theinstitution’s press release the event entails panel discussions, speeches and exhibitions of various projects undertaken by IIT Jodhpur. Some of the key issues to be addressed will be,’How philanthropist/Industry/ HNIs can engage with IIT Jodhpur for an impactful contribution’, and ‘How pan-IIT Alumni can contribute to growth of new IITs’.The conclave will also be witnessing Rishabh Centre for Research and Innovation in Clean Energy’s stone laying ceremony.
Prof. Santanu Chaudhury, Director, IIT Jodhpur buttressed on the significance of the conclave, “The Friends of IIT Jodhpur Conclave aims to engage more stakeholders with the IIT Jodhpur ecosystem and make our institute a welcoming and open space for collaborations and contribution by key participants such as government bodies, industry, research community, Pan-IIT alumni, and philanthropists. The conclave will enable discussions and continued engagement in encouraging invention-to-innovations initiatives and providing solutions to the current and future needs of our society.”
The attendees will also get to witness the innovation ecosystem of IIT Jodhpur, followed by a campus tour on both days, culminating in networking lunch/dinner.
