IMS Design and Innovation Academy (IMS DIA), one of the leading design institutes in the country, recently hosted its 7th Annual Convocation at its campus in Noida. 55 students from the 2012-2016 batch received their diploma on the occasion.
Piyush Gupta, owner, PP Jewellers was the chief guest at the convocation ceremony. The programme commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp, followed by a presentation of the annual report by Ankur Gulati (HOD, Fashion). The diploma was handed over to the graduating students by Nidhi Bhasin (HOD, Interior); Gaurav Sharma (HOD, Jewellery), Anaik Singh (HOD, Animation) and Gulati covering the academic and non-academic achievements of the graduating students. Two students of each of the four departments were awarded Medals of Honour for Academic and Creative Excellence.
Speaking on the occasion, Gulati said, “We are extremely happy that our batch has successfully graduated this year. With this convocation, there is a launch of fresh minds of our graduates ready to showcase their knowledge, skills and talent that they have acquired and developed during their course in IMS DIA. We believe in their dreams, innovative spirits and hope they take all that has been taught to them in their stride and shine bright in future.”
The event concluded with the convocation address by the chief guest, where he wished the students very best for all their future endeavours.
