Noida based IMS – Design & Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) one of the pioneering Design institutes of the country, recently organised a three day orientation programme to usher in the academic year 2016-2020, amid an environment of learning and fun. The event was graced by all the faculty members and officials of DIA as they inspired the students to embark on this new journey with the institute. 
The event commenced with a brief inaugural function where the students witnessed a traditional welcome and were made familiar with the DIA campus. It was followed by talks from all who matter to the students during their stay in DIA. Besides the insightful and interesting sessions, the event featured some lively song and dance performances, wall painting, and ramp walk, among others. 

In his welcome address, Ankur Gulati, dean Marketing and Branding at IMS DIA said, “Students must focus on imbibing skills which make them employable within the industry and corporates.”He added that parents are key stakeholders in their children’s education and both the student as well as institute has a responsibility to ensure that we don’t fail them. He requested the fresher to have full faith in their teachers as well as college and finally wished them the best for a successful career. 

The orientation programme helped introduce the students to their fellow students, key members of faculty, management and administrative teams. It also helped students come face-to face with many influential teachers from corporate and entrepreneurial arenas, who shared their valuable thoughts and insights.
