Introduction:
EducationWorld is a pioneer in education institutions rankings, from school to higher education institutions (HEIs).
The EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings were introduced in 2013. Since then the annual EWIHER has evolved into the country’s most comprehensive and detailed rankings survey rating and ranking over 1000 HEIs including colleges and universities across 10-12 parameters of higher education excellence.
This year in our quest towards continuously improving the EWIHER survey, we have introduced a AI-enabled online Career Readiness Assessment test in association with the US-based GetSetToWork to align with the future of work and the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence. It will assess how effectively institutions prepare students for professional workplaces through a structured, AI-powered online interview process, thereby influencing your Career Readiness/Placement score in EWIHER 2026–27.
The AI-powered online interview will cover open ended, scenario based questions assessing overall career readiness, including career clarity, role understanding, real world application of learning, industry awareness, communication, problem solving, teamwork, leadership, ethics, adaptability, and workplace readiness.
We invite your institution to nominate Eight (8) students to undertake a structured AI-powered online interview. Each student will be evaluated on the following competencies.
There is no participation fee for this initiative. Upon completion, the institution will receive a comprehensive, authentic performance evaluation report outlining individual competency scores, strengths, developmental areas, and actionable insights to support student career readiness planning.
• Depth of understanding
• Clarity of expression
• Technical knowledge
• Communication effectiveness
• Problem-solving ability
• Relevance of responses
Implementation Guidelines
• Each participating institute shall nominate eight (8) students in total, selected from any of its academic streams, for the AI-powered online interview.
• Single-discipline institutions may nominate students from the same academic stream.
• Multi-disciplinary institutions must nominate a total of eight students from any disciplines of their choice
• Institutions are responsible for student nomination and internal coordination.
• All online interview will be evaluated out of 60 marks, with 10 marks allotted for each parameter. The average score of all eight students will be considered for the rankings.
• Each interview will conclude upon the candidate responding to all 10 questions or upon completion of 30 minutes, whichever occurs earlier.
Institutional Impact
Participation in this test improves your institutional score under the Career Readiness and Placement parameter and affirms your commitment to producing industry-ready, ethically grounded, and future-capable graduates.
The AI-powered online interview interviews are conducted on GetSetToWork, developed by the US-based Greenlight Credentials.
