Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) along with US-based VR developers TransfrVR, hosted the first ever VR hospitality Learning & Development workshop at their Gurugram. Prototypes of VR modules for bartending, housekeeping and coffee making were demonstrated to senior housekeeping, food and beverage, training leaders and General Managers of the industry in a series of workshops.
The workshop was conducted to showcase technologies and opportunities in hospitality as well as assemble feedback to improve training and education. ISH will be enrolling students from August 2018 for undergraduate programmes in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts.
Speaking on the occasion, Founder & CEO, Dilip Puri said, “It is the vision of ISH to bring in new technologies which can enable learning in education as well as Learning and Development for hospitality and allied industries. ISH is getting ready to open for its first academic intake on 1st August 2018 starting with undergraduate programmes in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts. Its brand-new campus is now ready in Sector 83, Gurugram and admissions are on in full swing.
