Indus International School, Hyderabad came into existence in July 2008 at Mokila near Shankarpally, and is a brainchild of the Indus Trust. Classrooms are spaciously designed to seat 25 students, and are equipped with play areas for pre-school, projection systems, computer facilities and lockers. The well-equipped amphitheatre has a capacity of over 1000.
Classrooms are spacious with only 25 students’ accommodating facilities so that the class is comfortably spaced. Computers are present in classrooms, hostels and staff rooms apart from the library and the computer lab. The school library is stocked with latest editions of reference books, novels, journals etc
The medium of instruction at Indus is English and the curriculum offered is the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Year Program from Prep to class V, the Middle School Curriculum from class VI-VIII culminating in the University of Cambridge's International Examination in class IX and X. Students are awarded the International Certificate of Education (ICE) after class X. The school offers the IB Diploma Program for class XI and XII.

Admission to the school is considered on the following criterion:
For classes’ I-V, the admission is offered on the basis of the academic performance of the last 2 years. There will be a written aptitude test for classes VI onwards. It is also to be noted that the admission is considered depending on the vacancies to the specific class.
The school believes that all children possess specific intelligences in which they are strong. So, admissions will be based on the proclivity of the student especially mental organization, creativity and critical thinking skills.
The admission test is held on the school premises and the dates fixed as per the parents request. The outcome of the test is communicated within 5 working days.
Once a student has been tested and assessed, and the confirmation of admission is communicated, the final procedure where all the necessary documents and photographs along with the admission fee, and refundable security deposit must be paid to the school within 30 days.
Fees: Annual fees charged is approximately Rs 3, 50,000 which is to be deposited two months prior to when the session starts. The admissions begin in the month of October every year.

Residential facilities with all the amenities are available in the campus itself. Separate boys and girls residential services based on the ‘house’ concept are available. These are each under the close supervision of an experienced houseparent. Every living room module is based on semi-independent cabins.
