Overview

International School of Design, also known as INSD Pune, is a private institution located in Pune. This university is affiliated to Himalayan Garhwal University (HGU). Currently, the institute offers MBA, MDes, MSc, diploma and certificate courses in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, Graphic Design, Animation Design, Textile Design and Photography Design. INSD offers a wide variety of opportunities to learn first-hand from the pioneers, the path-breakers and the game-changers in the fields of Design and Innovation. INSD often conducts seminars, workshops, discussions, conversations and fashion shows with leading designers or consultants.

Campus

INSD Pune operates two campuses in Pune, Kothrud and Baner. Both of the campuses are entirely Wi-Fi-enabled with well-equipped infrastructure. Campus areas of Pune are situated amongst an exciting cluster of ancient ruins from the Mughal era, cafes and old monuments. Guest faculties from various part of the Globe, regularly visit INSD PUNE centre for workshops and interactions. The faculty at INSD Baner are well-qualified trainers, path-breakers and the game-changers in the fields of Design.

The institute offers 100% placement assistance under all programmes. The institute has a placement cell that connects with top organisations for placement drives. Apart from the placements, the institute has a Career Development Cell that provides personalised counselling and guidance for building IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and EQ (Emotional Quotient).

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell provides workshops, activities, interactive sessions to work-out set-ups, raise finances, accounting and inculcate managerial and peoples’ skills required to run a successful business.

Admission

Undergraduate Admission:

Eligibility: Candidates, who have completed Class 12 from a recognised board, are eligible to apply for undergraduate degree, diploma and certificate courses. Admissions are done on merit basis.

Postgraduate Admission:

Candidates, who have completed graduation from a recognised university, can apply for PG courses. Admission to MBA, MSc and MDes is done on merit basis. 

Admission to all the programmes is conducted online through the official website of the institute. Candidates, who meet the given eligibility criteria, can apply for these programmes.

Fees

For B.Des courses total fee is Rs.2.48 lakh. Total fee for diploma in Fashion Designing, Animation Design or Textile Design is Rs.62,000. For MDes, total fee is Rs.1.24 lakh. 

Achievement

The institute has won several awards such as Brand Achievers Award and Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar. It has received “Best Design School of India” by WESC in 2017.
