Promoted in 1999 by the Jain Group of Institutions, Jain International Residential School (JIRS) is a co-educational, residential school with nearly 750 students on its rolls. JIRS offers education to students from grade IV to grade XII, and provides a blend of three rigorous academic programmes– CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Examination) and IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme).
All classes at JIRS have 25 students per class and the staff-student ratio is maintained at 1:8.

The school offers the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum for grades IV to XII, Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (LSP) for grade VII, International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) ‘O’ level curriculum from grade VIII through grade X and the IGCSE ‘A’ Level and IB Diploma curriculum for grades XI and XII.
Extracurricular: The school encourages participation in cricket, football, tennis, volleyball, squash, hockey, badminton, basket ball, golf, swimming and athletics. Hobby classes are mandatory for each student and students can choose between art and craft, clay modeling, soft toy making, face painting, floral carpet, vegetable carving and digital painting. Besides, classes for performing arts such as classical music, drama, dance and orchestral instruments, are also offered.

The name of the student will be registered on receipt of the application form duly completed, including the medical form, photocopy of the report card of the previous grade and an advance payment of Rs. 2,00,000 as part payment of fees by demand draft in favour of Jain International Residential School payable at Bangalore.
