JBCN International School, Borivali recently hosted the 4th edition of Guardians of the Future, an inspiring celebration dedicated to recognising the exceptional contributions of preschool heads in shaping young minds. This annual celebration honours visionary educators who play a crucial role in early childhood education, nurturing curiosity and creativity and a lifelong love of learning.
The celebration began with a warm and heartfelt welcome as learners presented each guest with flowers, setting a tone of appreciation and respect. The atmosphere was further enlivened by a captivating musical performance by the talented school band, which infused the gathering with an uplifting energy. A highlight of the evening was an interactive session led by celebrated artist Ms. Asha Vasudevan. She introduced participants to the rich and intricate art form of Lipan and, as she guided them through the creative process, emphasised how artistic engagement contributes to mental well-being, offering a sense of calm, mindfulness, and self-expression
The celebration continued with an insightful wellness session conducted by Dr Meghna Matange, a distinguished physiotherapist and founder of Physioexcel. Dr Matange shared practical exercises and techniques to improve mobility and alleviate work-related strain, equipping participants with valuable tools to enhance their physical well-being.
In recognition of their unwavering dedication, the attending Changemakers were treated to a series of rejuvenating self-care activities, emphasising the importance of well-being and mindfulness in their engaging roles. These moments of relaxation allowed educators to reflect, recharge, and celebrate their shared passion for teaching.
