On March 19, Kangaroo Kids Education Limited (KKEL), the pioneers in new format schooling and learning methodology, with their focus on whole child development and concept age curriculum received the ISO 9001:2008 certification. The Kangaroo Kids Preschool, Pali Hill, Kangaroo Kids NESCO Day Care and Preschool Centre acquired the certification on the sidelines of KKEL’s Pali Hill annual concert at St. Andrews Auditorium, Bandra.
Kangaroo Kids Education Ltd received the certification for quality management system for imparting preprimary education amongst children. The certification also points out to the top management commitment and dedication that the school possesses that helps the kids to train at a grass-root level and makes them ready for the competitive world outside. Moreover, KKEL is known for its world – class curriculum and facilities, which is a first of its kind in the industry for holistic child development.
Lina Ashar, founder, KKEL received the certification from Arup Jana, national manager, Certification at KKEL’s Pali Hill’s Annual Concert which was attended by 650 people.
Bracing the occasion, Ashar said, “It is an honor to receive the ISO certificate for world-class curriculum and this reiterates our commitment and work that has gone behind in developing the curriculum for our children. We have done pioneering work to introduce a learner centric methodology and introduce innovative ways of learning by providing integrated activities and theme based learning. We are also the first in handling a dedicated in-house R&D team along with implementing education with an Open-Entry System. It gives me immense pleasure to see the hard work paying off and I am proud of this stellar achievement.”
Jana said, “Kangaroo Kids has established a very systematic and process driven approach towards education. The criteria for the certification were:
1. Ability to ensure applicable statutory regulatory and contractual requirements is met.
2. Ability to achieve specified objectives and embarks on continual improvement.
3. Establish and maintain its management system in line with requirements of ISO standards and demonstrate the ability of the system to systematically achieve the requirements for products and services within the scope and the organisations policy and objectives.
The theme of the annual concert was ‘Skippy’s Underwater Adventure’ and the concert was an effort to ignite the curious minds amidst music, dance, laughter and fun. Programmes at Kangaroo Kids are centred on themes which allow children to have hands-on experience, something which they can relate to and have relevance to what is being taught to them. Children tend to get awed by the magic and wonder of the sea world. Through this year’s theme, “Skippy’s Underwater Adventure,” Kangaroo Kids hopes to ignite the children’s mind to appreciate their environment and desire to conserve its beauty and splendor.
