A 21-year-old law student who was declared brain dead after an accident has given a new lease of life to a 56-year-old after his heart was transplanted to her in Bengaluru.
The donor, who was pursuing law, had met with an accident and was under treatment at Apollo Hospitals, Sheshadripuram. He was declared brain dead on September 21 at 12.30 pm following which his father consented for organ donation.
