July 9, 2020

The Department of Pre-University Education (PUE) in Karnataka will declare the result of Karnataka PUC results 2020 or class 12 Karnataka board exams by July 20. The state education minister, S Suresh Kumar tweeted, “Many students are calling me to know whether Second PUC results will be announced Today. I once again inform all that Second PUC results will come out around 20th July.”

In an earlier statement, Kumar said that students can expect the result of Karnataka PUC-II by last week of July. The PUE conducted the pending exams in June and over 5.95 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka PUC exams 2020.

During exams, the department ensured social distancing as an additional 13,528 rooms were arranged across centres in the state apart from the 23,064 rooms in which all exams were held in April before the lockdown began.

The Karnataka PUC results 2020 will be available on July 20, 2020 at these websites: kseeb.nic.in, karresults.nic.in and result.bspucpa.com. Students can get the results via an online portal- SuVidya, result.bspucpa.com.

The DPUE had earlier declared the result for the PUC 1 exams or class 11 exam for which over 6.53 lakh students had registered. To clear the exam, candidates need to secure 35 per cent aggregate marks with a minimum score of 70 marks in the language papers and 30 marks each in individual subjects for a total of 210 out of 600 marks.

Earlier, Kumar had stated, “Last year (2019), 94.5 percent students appeared for the II PUC exam in Karnataka while this year, the attendance rose to 96 percent. We will find out why the others, about 23,600 students, did not appear for the exam. If there are any genuine reasons, we will provide them with an opportunity to write supplementary exams as freshers.”
