While students have taken to the streets amid a row over the Hijab, the department of pre-university education in Karnataka has announced the time table for second PU board exams for the current academic year.
As per the final timetable published by the department, exams will be held between April 16 and May 6 across the state. Exams will be held between 10.15am and 1.30pm.
On day one of the exam, on Saturday, students will write the mathematics, education or basic math paper depending on the stream chosen. Following a day’s break on Sunday, students will write the political science or statistics paper on Monday.
Information Technology, retail, automobile, healthcare, beauty and wellness exams will be held on April 19. History and Physics exams will be held the following day.
Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Arabic and French exams are scheduled on April 21 while Logic or Business studies exams will be conducted on Aril 22.
Carnatic music, Hindustani music, psychology and chemistry exams will be held on April 23. On Monday, April 25, economics exams will be conducted.
Hindi and Kannada exams will be held on 26 and 28 April respectively with a day’s break in the exam timetable.
Sociology, electronics, computer science is scheduled for April 30 while geography, biology will be held on May 2. On May 4, English exams are scheduled while Optional Kannada, accountancy, geology and home science are scheduled for the past day, May 6.
