Anya Seth Syed of Grade 8 stood second in the Karnataka State U15 chess championship held at Mandya recently. She is representing Karnataka at the National U15 Chess Championship 2019. She won a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 3500.
She scored 7 pts out of 9.She won 6 games and drew 2.
Greenwood high won the Best School Award at Karnataka State Under-9 Open and girls Chess championship held from 28th June to 30th June 2019 at Bengaluru.
Anya Seth Syed represented India as a special entry in Under-14 Girls Category of the Common wealth chess championship held at New Delhi from July 1st to 7th July 2019 and secured 20th Place.
