Adding yet another feather to its cap, Bhubaneswar based KIIT University has bagged two Consortium of Co-Chairpersons – Industry (CCI) Technology Education Excellency Awards 2013. Professor P. P. Mathur, vice chancellor, KIIT University received the award from Ndubulsi Vitus Amaku, the high commissioner of Nigeria in the august presence of N. K. Goyal, president, CMAI and Dr. Akshai Aggarwal, vice chancellor, Gujarat Technological University at a glittering presentation ceremony in Ahmedabad on May 18, 2013.
The CCI Technology Education Excellency Award is instituted by Gujarat Technological University, jointly with Communication Multimedia Applications Infrastructure (CMAI) Association of India. It is supported by ASSOCHAM, a national chamber of commerce and industries.
KIIT University bagged the awards under the categories of Best University in Promoting Research & Development, Relevant to the Needs of the Society and Best University in Learned Publication in High Impact Journals in Top tier Conferences. The awards recognize the efforts of the university in promoting research, development and publications in world class journals.
