The CBI conducted searches on Tuesday at multiple locations in Kolkata and its surrounding areas as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected irregularities related to the recruitment of primary teachers.
These searches spanned six different sites across Kolkata, Salt Lake, and Howrah and targeted properties associated with specific private companies. During the search operations, investigators discovered incriminating documents and items.
The central agency’s inquiry focuses on alleged irregularities in the appointment of assistant teachers in government primary schools.
